Since January of 2023, ONE Championship's weekly ONE Lumpinee event at Bangkok's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium has entertained millions of Muay Thai fans not only in Thailand, but across the world.

This past Sunday, ONE and Channel 7HD received an award for Best Sports Program 2023 at the 15th annual Nataraja Awards for taking the national pastime of Muay Thai and turning it into one of the most-watched forms of sports entertainment on Thai television.

The ceremony took place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok on May 12 and was organised by the Federation of Radio and Television Professional Association.

ONE Lumpinee beat four other nominees to claim honours in the sports category. The award was accepted by representatives of ONE and members of the Channel 7HD team.

In ONE Lumpinee's 62 episodes since its debut, numerous stars have won life-changing 3.5-million-baht contracts to ONE Championship. Among them is "The Queen" Phetjeeja, who recently captured the ONE atomweight kickboxing world title, fan-favourite Seksan Or Kwanmuang, and rising star Kongthoranee Sor Sommai.

ONE recently announced that ONE Lumpinee 68 would be a tentpole event on June 28, in which several established stars will compete as part of the card.

The vacant ONE strawweight kickboxing world title will be on the line when former divisional king Jonathan Di Bella faces divisional Muay Thai ruler Prajanchai PK Saenchai in a clash of the very best strikers on the planet.

Before that, ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 will also be in action. "The Kicking Machine" takes on surging contender Kongthoranee in a non-title flyweight Muay Thai battle.

Channel 7HD broadcasts ONE Lumpinee from 7.30-11.30pm every Friday. It has the highest ratings of any combat sports shows.
