WBC female bantamweight champion Usanakorn Kokietgym was dethroned by Susie Ramadan in Melbourne yesterday.
The 33-year-old Australian took a unanimous 97-93, 99-91, 99-91 victory over the Thai after 10 rounds at the Melbourne Pavillion.
It was Usanakorn's second defeat against 11 wins (10KOs) while the new champion improved to 23-1.
Usanakorn, 24, won the title in 2009 when she beat Galina Koleva Ivanova of Bulgaria.
In another bout yesterday, Australia's Lauryn Eagle stopped Thailand's Kiangsak Sithsaithong in the fifth round to win the vacant WBF female super-featherweight title.
