Seven returnees from abroad had high fever

Seven Thais returning from abroad were found to have a high fever on their arrival at Suvarnabhumi airport on Thursday.

They were among 519 returnees from the United States and Indonesia and arrived on three flights. 

The first flight carried 97 people, two of them Buddhist monks, from the United States. Flight JL031 landed at 7.10am. All underwent health screening checks and none had a fever. They were taken by buses to state quarantine facilities for 14 days.

Flight TG434 from Indonesia landed with 264 returnees, five of them were Buddhist monks. It arrived at the airport at 3.50pm. During health screening, seven were found to have a high fever and were immediately taken to hospital.  The others were taken by buses to state quarantine facilities for 14 days.

The third flight carried 158 passengers returning from the United States via South Korea by Korean Air. It  arrived at 9.45pm. After health screening, they were taken by buses to state quarantine facilities for 14 days.
