PHITSANULOK: A building at Ban Nong Mai Yang Dam School in Noen Ma Prang district of this central northern province was burned down by a fire that broke out in the small hours of Sunday morning, local media reported.
Two fire engines from the Ban Noy Sum Khi Lek tambon administration organisation was dispatched to the school after being alerted to the blaze, which took place at about 4am.
The fire spread quickly beyond control and completely destroyed a two-storey school building. There were no deaths or injuries.
The cause of the fire was being investigated and the damage being assessed.
