Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited and ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand are supporting the National Science Museum (NSM) to promote science learning for youth and the public nationwide.

Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin (4th right), Esso director, presented 1,100,000-baht support to Asst. Prof. Dr. Rawin Raviwongse (4th left), NSM president, to cooperatively promote innovative science learning through a variety of activities.

“NSM receives constant support and good cooperation from Esso,” commented Asst. Prof. Dr. Rawin. “In 2023, NSM and Esso continue to bring the fun of science to youth through ‘NSM Science Caravan’ and the ‘Science in Movie’ column in NSM Science Magazine. Both collaborative programs provide youth with opportunities to enjoy the wonders of learning science outside classrooms through fun activities and to apply the knowledge in daily life. This good experience can thereby inspire youth to pursue science studies.”

Jirapun Paowarut (3rd right), Esso retail sales manager, added: “Last year, we expanded our cooperation with NSM by offering a special promotion to Esso Smiles members: a 100-baht discount for entrance fees to NSM’s museums in Pathum Thani by presenting their Esso Smiles Card or showing the card number via Esso Smiles Connect from LINE@EssoThailand. The museums include Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Information Technology Museum, and RAMA 9 Museum. The promotion started from June 1, 2022 and continues to January 16, 2023, with 5,000 availabilities across the promotion period.”

Esso and ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand provide quality fuels and lubes as well as chemical products to serve the growth of the country. The companies emphasise conducting business consistent with social responsibility while engaging, creating and supporting development in operating communities.
