The stories of landscape and changes in geology are presented through art during "Land Form", which is running at SAC Gallery, until Dec 18.

This is a group exhibition by Akira Ishiguro, Lek Kiatsirikajorn and Trinnapat Chaisitthisak who come up with their own ways to reflect how humans and their efforts to conquer nature have had a great impact on the planet and become the footprints of this era.

Through a series of photographs, Lek captures plain and empty landscapes with abandoned constructions that humans tried to hold on to keep our existence while Trinnapat uses lines and forms to create space and time in his drawings that invite viewers to explore complex dimensions over empty spaces where human footprints have been left.

Akira, meanwhile, demonstrates the layer of minerals made of air, water and sediment compressed and pressured under the rock layer in his acrylic on canvas. The unique patterns and colours identify the transition between geological time scales which connect the story of humanity in history from the Industrial Revolution to globalisation.

The exhibition aims to demonstrate changes in geology that are invisible to our eyes in order to encourage us to be more conscious about the planet we're living on.

The exhibition is open for public viewing from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm. The gallery is located on Sukhumvit 39.
