This is a solo exhibition by Wisut Ponnimit, a cartoonist, animator, artist and musician best known for creating Mamuang, the cartoon character of a cheerful and cute girl with a big following in Thailand and Japan.

Pronounced "I Am You", "Uoy Ma I" is about self-reflection as a result of seeing something different. Inspired by the fact that our perspectives on life are sometimes influenced by how we see the world, the artist has chosen to use the ordinary habit of looking in the mirror to encourage viewers to reflect on their own lives and connect them with Mamuang.

They will get to know the girl in a more intimate way than ever through the large paintings on display.

They depict Mamuang looking at herself in a mirror in different postures at various moments, from waking up in the morning to wandering in her dream world. One of the pieces is the largest painting of the girl Wisut has ever created.

The exhibition aims to offer an extraordinary experience, making the viewers feel as if they were seeing themselves reflected as Mamuang in the paintings. They might even imagine the girl saying to them: "I am you."

There is no admission fee. Visit rivercitybangkok.com or call 02-237-0077/8.
