Art lovers are invited on a nostalgic journey into the delightful world of comic books by four talented comic artists during "Blood Sweat Tears And Ink: Back To Comics", which is running at RCB Artery, 1st floor of River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung 24, until June 30.

In this exhibition, Aphisit Muennak, Songwit Seakitikul, Tripuck Supawattana and Suttichart Sarapaiwanich narrate their life as artists under the concept "Blood Sweat Tears And Ink".

The stories unfold from their initial days as comic creators and friendships formed to the evolution of their path into new forms. This allows past fans to reminisce and reconnect with the familiar inked lines on paper they adored.

Aphisit delves into the narrative of "Blood" which symbolises the life force that nurtures cartoonists, recounting his relationship with comics from the start.

Meanwhile, Songwit vividly depicts the narrative of "Sweat", illustrating the arduous toil and hardship endured by cartoonists.

Tripuck captures the essence of "Tears", reflecting his life as a cartoonist of 17 years, a path not strewn with rose petals; while Suttichart presents the tale of "Ink", which encapsulates both the joy and pain of working as a comic book writer.

Contemporary audiences can appreciate modern brushwork on canvas which showcases the artists' growth and timeless beauty of their creations.

The exhibition also features a wide array of applied arts, offering viewers the opportunity to view and collect works across various mediums, from cards to sculptures. A major highlight is the debut of a compiled comic book featuring works from all four master cartoonists.

There is no admission fee. Visit rivercitybangkok.com or call 02-237-0077/8.
