A dozen artists from five countries have joined hands to bring a wondrous tale to life during "Down The Rabbit Hole", which kicks off today and runs until Sept 5, at RCB Galleria 3, 2nd floor of River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung 24.
The exhibition takes its title from the first chapter of Lewis Carroll's timeless classic Alice's Adventure In Wonderland, which opens the door to a world of boundless imagination seen through the curious eyes of Alice, an ordinary girl who inadvertently tumbles into a rabbit hole, embarking on a life-altering adventure.
Inspired by the whimsical and unexpected turns in Alice's life, the 12 artists, illustrators and art toy designers from Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand adapt these elements in their artworks according to their unique perspectives and imaginations, drawing parallels between "falling down the rabbit hole" and pivotal moments in their own lives.
