Onitsuka Tiger creative director Andrea Pompilio was recently in town for the launch of the autumn-winter 2019 collection, hosted by director Ryoji Shoda at Warehouse 30 in Charoen Krung.
Themed "Downtown Rave'', the collection is inspired by Berlin's club scene and 90s freethinking youth. The designs incorporate bold slogans in patches and prints as well as a club-like snowboarder style that characterises the underground club scene.
DJ Montonn Jira played upbeat music, whereas a fashion show presented the loosefitting athletic wear and thick-soled sneakers with big logos.
Celebs, including Puttichai Kasetsin, Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul, Supassara Thanachart and Toni Rakkaen, sported pieces from the latest collection.
