Pro Musica will present one of the most anticipated concerts of the year, delighting children of all ages while introducing them to various musical instruments.

"Concert For Kids" will take place at the Dr Thaworn Phornprapha Auditorium, 5th floor of Siam Motor Building, Rama I, on Saturday at 2pm and again at 5pm.

Under the direction of Dr Tasana Nagavajara, Pro Musica will bring animals to life through enchanting music with compelling narration of Camille Saint-Saëns' playful masterpiece Carnival Of The Animals.

This musical suite comprises 14 movements, each of which introduces a different animal or group of animals, with a small number of instruments to mimic their voices or the ways they move.

The different movements feature animals presented in imaginative and descriptive ways, from the royal march of stately lions to "hippity-hopping" kangaroos, a sleepy turtle, lumbering elephants, a graceful swan and many more. The piece will be narrated in Thai and English by YouTube personality KibtChan and musician Leo Phillips, with new poetry written by veteran theatre gurus Kamron Gunatilaka and Sarawanee Sukhumvada with Phillips. Full of humour and imagination, this adds a new dimension to the music, delighting audiences young and old.

Tickets cost 300 and 600 baht (free for children under two years old). Visit ticketmelon.com.
