The concept projects a strong-hearted woman, who cares about the future of our planet, sending messages of activism with poetic phrases by author and environmentalist Jonathan Safran Foer.
Renowned for the best-selling Everything Is Illuminated, Foer leant his words to a sustainable capsule within the collection titled "We Are The Weather".
Key pieces include a jumpsuit, utility dress, trousers and puffer coat decorated with a graphic sun print and featuring the handwritten messages.
McCartney's eco ethos and hope for a circular future remain at the forefront, with over 60% of the pieces made from sustainable materials, such as organic cotton, Econyl regenerated nylon and recycled polyester as well as traceable alpaca wool.
Organic cotton denim jumpsuits are in yellow or light teal while lightweight workwear jacket and cargo trousers are in soft shades of lilac, as colours of spring.
Inspired by psychedelic illustrated florals from the 1960s, botanical patterns appear in acidic hues and are punched out with modern colour-blocking.
For accessories, an upcycled patchwork hobo bag created from tonal blue panels of archival fabric is a standout piece that upholds the brand's circular ethos.
