Celebrating its centenary in 1948, Omega introduced the Seamaster, which was the official watch of the Olympic Games held in London in the same year. Over the years, new members have joined the robust and water-resistant family of watches.

As the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games, Omega has redesigned Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M, Aqua Terra 150M and Diver 300M to mark the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.

The Swiss watchmaker pays tribute to the host country through the Seamaster Planet Ocean Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition powered by Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800.

Housed in a 39.5mm stainless steel case, the model can be worn with a white leather strap, a stainless steel bracelet or a Nato strap provided in a special presentation box.

The white ceramic bezel ring features a diving scale in Omega Liquidmetal, an anamorphous alloy three times as hard as stainless steel. Since 2010, the brand has bonded its ceramics with the Liquidmetal, which offers enduring stability and superior scratch-resistance as well as decoration possibilities.

Referencing the year 2020, the number 20 on the bezel is filled with red liquid ceramic. Sweeping the polished white ceramic dial, the lollipop central seconds hand is designed with a tip crafted with a varnished red dot to represent the flag of Japan.

The expertise in ceramics is further applied to Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition, which is slightly larger in a 41mm stainless steel case. Equipped with the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8900, the timepiece is matched with a structured blue rubber strap or a stainless steel bracelet.

Its polished blue ceramic dial is distinguished by a laser-engraved Tokyo 2020 pattern, as well as a date window at 6 instead of 3 o'clock as in the Seamaster Planet Ocean.

Both limited editions of 2,020 pieces boast a transferred Tokyo 2020 emblem on the caseback, whose sapphire crystal reveals the self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement.

The largest of the commemorative models, Seamaster Diver 300M Tokyo 2020 is presented in a 42mm stainless steel case with a matching bracelet.

The blue ceramic bezel ring has a white enamel diving scale while the polished white ceramic dial is adorned with laser-engraved waves. Filled with white Super-LumiNova, the hands and indexes are also in blue while the Seamaster name is highlighted in red.

The sapphire crystal caseback is also decorated with the Tokyo 2020 emblem while displaying the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, which has been officially certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology like the other two movements of the Tokyo 2020 limited editions.
