To help save the environment and lend support to those in need, "Chula Zero Waste And Food For Fighter" is accepting unwanted pinto (food carriers) and plastic food containers of any kind, which will be donated to Wat Somanas and Chakkraphatdiphong communities in Nang Loeng of Bangkok.

They will be used to contain food cooked by the community kitchen and given to people in the two communities affected by the pandemic.

As the project aims to promote the reuse of unused food containers and reduce waste, the donated items should be durable, in good condition, washable and reusable. Single-use containers aren't accepted and people don't need to buy new ones to donate.

The containers should be sent to Food for Fighters Centre at Chula Alumni, Phaya Thai Road, Wang Mai, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330. Please specify "pinto/container for donation" on the box. To donate the items in person, call 02-016-9910.

Cash donations are also welcome to provide raw materials and ingredients for the community kitchen which usually prepares around 100 meals at the cost of around 3,500 baht to be given away daily. Each meal comprises two dishes and one dessert. On some occasions, the kitchen cooks up to 350 meals for giveaways.

Donations can be made via money transfer to the Siam Commercial Bank account name Kuvanant Foundation, account number 109-249780-3. "PintoFighter" should be specified as a remark. To get evidence for tax deductions, send the deposit documents to Line ID: @silvervoyage.
