There is something for everyone to celebrate the Christmas and New Year festivities at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.
Festive afternoon tea is served at The Bakery every day until 31 January 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The selections include themed savory and sweet treats such as smoked turkey with homemade cranberry bread roll, Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, and warm mini panettone with masala cream anglazie.
Priced THB 1,200 per couple including premium organic tea or specialty coffee, and for an extra sparkle, THB 1,900 per couple including an additional glass of champagne per person.
Every Saturday and Sunday between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. throughout December, The Bakery has a homemade gingerbread house decoration activity for children. Priced THB 950 per one adult and one child, including two beverages, and THB 200 per additional child.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are when families and friends come together for a Christmas brunch or dinner at the Rain Tree Café. The seasonal buffet includes a traditional roasted butterball turkey with cranberry sauce and chestnut and bacon stuffing, beef wellington, foie gras terrine, baked fresh fish, a huge selection of seafood on ice, and the sweetest desserts. Carol singers perform songs of the season, and pianist Jen François adds favourites to enhance the Christmas mood. A premium festive lucky draw offers wonderful prizes including the opportunity to stay in a suite at The Athenee Hotel.
Christmas Eve, Friday 24 December 2021, features the festive buffet dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at THB 2,988 per person. On Christmas Day, Saturday 25 December 2021, festive brunch is served from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at THB 2,988 per person, and dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at THB 2,500 per person. Beverage package at THB 1,300 per person including free-flow prosecco, wines, beers, cocktails, soft drinks and juices.
Stay overnight on the Festive Gift of Happiness package at THB 2,000 per Athenee Room when booking Christmas lunch or dinner. Government subsidies are applicable.
At The Allium Bangkok guests can savour an epicurean seven-course Modern French degustation experience. Carol singing and a visit from Santa Claus to offer season’s greetings and gifts for the children will keep guests entertained, and a premium festive lucky draw offers wonderful prizes.
Christmas Eve dinner is served on 24 December 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Christmas Day on 25 December 2021 sees lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Price is THB 2,900 for the seven-course set menu. New Year’s Eve dinner on 31 December 2021 is served from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., at THB 3,200 for the seven-course set menu. For an extra THB 2,200 per person a sommelier selected wine pairing is available.
At Kintsugi Bangkok, Michelin-starred chef Jeff Ramsey’s sophisticated and alluring tastes of the Kaiseki traditional Japanese set menu is given a distinctive contemporary spin. The Ito seven-course menu is THB 3,000 and the Kin10-course menu is THB 3,500, with sake pairing for THB 2,680 per person. Served daily from 23 December 2021 to 1 January 2022.
The Athenee Hotel also has a festive hamper collection, available from now until 10 January 2022.
Athenee Spa has a Winter Serenity package from Wednesday to Sunday from now until 31 December 2021. The 60-minute Gingerbread Sugar Scrub is THB 1,900, and the 60-minute Peppermint Mocha Scrub is also THB 1,900.
