This season of giving, Aesop salutes five charities through its Anatomy Of Generosity collection.

Building on its philanthropic initiatives, the Aesop Foundation partners with organisations that amplify voices of the underrepresented, in promoting storytelling and literacy.

The collection comprises five gift kits named after altruistic archetypes: The Protector, The Listener, The Mentor, The Forager and The Advocate.

Regardless of sales, a donation of A$100,000 (just under 2.4 million baht) will be granted to each of the five organisations that represent the archetypes.

The Melbourne-based company identifies The Protector with The Karrkad Kanjdji Trust, which encompasses groups of indigenous rangers who help address some of Australia's pressing environmental problems, from managing native biodiversity to combating climate change.

The Trust also focuses on preserving the cultural heritage and promoting traditional ways of living off the land. Funding from the Aesop Foundation will particularly support the preservation of indigenous ecological and spiritual knowledge.

The Listener refers to London-based Pan Intercultural Arts founded in 1986 to empower refugees and minorities through the transformative effects of the arts. They work with members from all cultures and religions to foster a world of respect and understanding across societal divides. Aesop's donation will be used to recruit more participants and explore more channels for the group's creative pursuits.

Likewise, a grant will go to Create UK, recognised as The Mentor, in launching an environmental-themed initiative for schools in London, Leeds and Manchester, as part of its works in educating children with special needs and disabilities.

The Advocate features a quartet of hand and body products.

The Forager relates to Photographers Without Borders, a diverse network of over 1,000 photographers and filmmakers who highlight pertinent issues through visual mediums. The Aesop Foundation will support a five-year programme of funding 10 new storytellers annually.

Lastly, Aesop honours US-based Voice of Witness as The Advocate. The human rights charity supports those most impacted by social injustice, who are often underrepresented in mainstream media.

The Voice of Witness compiles and publishes oral accounts and educates others through an ambassador network. The donation will assist with the publication of another issue in their current book series and support a further three titles over the next two years.

The Anatomy Of Generosity collection features Aesop's bestsellers in packaging made from recycled paper pulp. The Protector gift kit features aromatic hand wash and room spray as well as the Post-Poo Drops which serves as a bathroom deodoriser.

The Listener pampers the body with refreshing cleanser, scrub and balm containing geranium leaf extract while The Mentor contains a facial cleanser as well as antioxidant toner and intense serum from the Parsley Seed range.

Citrus-infused body cleanser and balm come together for The Forager and a quartet of hand and body care products for The Advocate.
