Central Village further solidifies its shopping destination status with the second phase

The second phase of Central Village near Suvarnabhumi International Airport was launched recently, solidifying its status as a global shopping destination. Home to more than 300 global brands offering special discounts of up to 90%, you can find your next go-to items of clothing or accessories without breaking the bank. High-end shopping on a high street budget, if you will.

Thailand's leading real estate developer Central Pattana Plc and its partner Mitsubishi Estate (Thailand) Co Ltd, a subsidiary under Mitsubishi Estate Co Ltd, recently launched phase two of Thailand's world-class luxury outlet Central Village.

Striving for the ultimate goal as "Thailand's Most Complete Luxury Outlet & Lifestyle Destination", Central Village provides an experience that goes beyond brand-name shopping. It boasts continued success as proven by a 100% rebound in traffic in the last quarter of 2021 when compared to 2020 while offering various brands to cater to every lifestyle, as well as a food destination at the same address.

To that end, Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, executive vice-president of marketing, Central Pattana, said, "Central Village's second phase will catch up with various lifestyle trends. There will be sports and adventure brands for those who love golf and running, as well as cosmetic brands and fashion brands like Pomelo and Beautrium for fashionistas. To meet the need of family groups, there will be popular kids' fashion brands like Nishimatsuya by H.I.S. from Japan." According to Nattakit, Pet N Me and B2S will also have their first outlet stores there.

He attributed one factor for Central Village's success since its opening in August 2019 to its ability to court top spenders. He added, "We have been able to boost spending by launching continuous marketing campaigns via our Luxury Outlet Chat & Shop services and an intensive omnichannel covering the whole country." As a result, sales at the end of last year grew by 13% YoY. Signature events and attractive promotions have also been held throughout the year to help its tenants grow.

According to him, there are five reasons to check out Central Village's phase two. First, art and design lovers will be impressed by its architectural design under the concept of "Thai Modern". Four one-of-its-kind Thai villages have been added to Central Village. They are Textile Village, Brick Village, Porcelain Village and Goldsmith Village, all of which are inspired by their namesakes. They are complemented by lush green areas, convenient roofed paths, fountains and treehouses.

Second, you can indulge in retail therapy anytime as promotions with up to 90% off take place all year round. Third, the astounding presence of 300 global leading brands from all tiers and for all lifestyles in the second phase. Some of the global brands in Central Village's roster include Salvatore Ferragamo, Coach, Ermenegildo Zegna, Kate Spade, Kenzo, Marimekko, Max & Co, MCQ, Michael Kors, Moschino, Outlet by Club21, Polo Ralph Lauren, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood, Bath & Body Works, Coccinelle and Jim Thompson.

Fourth, Central Village is a foodie playground with a variety of noted eateries, including A Pink Rabbit Cake Cafe + Palette, Bonchon, Café Amazon, Café Kaldi, ChaTraMue, Doikham and Doitung, Fresh Me, Fuji Restaurant, Laem Charoen Seafood, Lao Yuan, Tiew Kai Ta Lueng, MK Restaurants, Olino Crepe & Tea, Red Diamond Specialty Coffee, Starbucks, Sushi Hiro and Swensen's. You need to replenish your energy after a long day of shopping, after all.

Lastly, there are Instagrammable landmarks and check-in spots throughout Central Village to up your social media game. The second phase showcases new attractions and landmarks, including a large Thai heritage fountain amidst an amazing array of plants. Various festive events will be held throughout the year. Central Village is valued at 5 billion baht with a total space of 36,000m² and parking space for more than 2,000 vehicles. Located near Suvarnabhumi International Airport, it is 30 minutes from Bangkok CBD. Central Village opens 11am-9pm on weekdays and 10am-9pm on weekends and public holidays.
