CentralWorld has transformed its Zone I on the 3rd floor into a premium Japanese food market featuring authentic Japanese food and imported sweets from around the world in one place.

Called "Nippon Market", this is the right venue to enjoy the experience of shopping for a variety of Japanese food products, appliances and items in a real Japanese market atmosphere as if you were in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Opening its doors last month, the new market brings more than 10,000 items of premium food products and snacks imported from Japan and around the world, with a focus on products that local Japanese people consume and are well-known for their quality and tastes that are unique to each local community.

Highlights include authentic Japanese green tea from Shizuoka, delicious Uji matcha from Kyoto, authentic Japanese milk from Hokkaido, original Daifuku from Kyoto, as well as premium snacks and souvenirs from famous tourist attractions all over Japan.

This is a premium food market for everyone who loves Japan.

The "Nippon Market" also presents ready-to-eat products direct from Japan at the Yatai Zone; an Izakaya (Japanese bar); and a fish market offering ingredients, ready meals such as sushi and sashimi, and fresh fish and seafood.

Shoppers may sit down and indulge in ready-to-eat meals such as rice with many different toppings, takoyaki, oden, and even freshly-made confectionery such as warabimochi and dango.

Also available are more than 1,000 types of sake direct from Japan and other beverages such as wine and plum wine from around the world.
