Books? Coffee? Heaven!

SOCIAL & LIFESTYLE

Happening, an art and entertainment magazine, will launch the first edition of a coffee-inspired short story collection on Wednesday to enrich your reading experience with a great cup of Joe in one sitting.

A Cup Of Story features four short stories by distinguished writers -- Veeraporn Nitiprapha, Anusorn Tipayanon, Vip Buraphadeja and Jiraporn Wiwa -- under the theme of coffee and cafes in different contexts. Its beautiful, warm cover is illustrated by Khemtit.

A Cup Of Story is a cultural experiment to boost reading and explore a new way of dissemination. On the one hand, more bookstores and publishing houses have closed down, despite a demand for reflection and offline conversation. On the other, more cafes have opened that offer books and miscellaneous stationery.

The book will be available for sale at 135 baht from Wednesday at happeningandfriends.com. Visitors can also grab a copy at this year's Thailand Coffee Fest at the Coffee Art Zone in Impact Exhibition Centre Hall 5, and two branches of Happening Shop at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre and Dadfa Market Park.

A Cup Of Story will be offered in cafes and independent bookstores later.
