Organised by Seameo Regional Centre for Archaeology and Fine Arts, this is a two-day arts event comprising a seminar, workshops and a watercolour painting exhibition featuring the iconic cultural heritage of Southeast Asia painted by renowned Thai artists.

The event aims to foster dialogue and knowledge exchange among curators, artists, artisans, scholars and students, shedding light on the interplay between arts and heritage. It will also help empower professionals to communicate heritage values through their artistic works.

The first day will feature a seminar conducted in English. It consists of three sessions -- "Brushstrokes of History-Interrelationship between Heritage and Arts through the Eyes of Artist and Heritage Professional" at 11am, "Creative Heritage and Artistic Innovation in Heritage Context" at 2.30pm, and "Engaging Community, Empowering Local Voices, and Encouraging Youth in Arts and Heritage" at 4pm.

There is no admission fee but pre-registrations are recommended to secure a seat, via forms.gle/uYLemBUTqTp2Za6Z7.

On the second day, participants will have the opportunity to engage in four different art workshops conducted in Thai by renowned artists from 1.30pm. These workshops will provide a unique chance to explore techniques and artistic expressions in the context of Southeast Asian cultural heritage.

The workshops are free of charge and all necessary equipment and materials will be provided. Seats are limited to 10 persons per workshop and available on a first-come-first-served basis.
