The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and Fivera will present flexible performances featuring Valentine's and Chinese-themed music, at AUA Auditorium, Ratchadamri Road, on Friday and Saturday at 7pm.

Held to celebrate the two festivals that fall on the same week this year, the "La Vie En Rose: The Mesmerizing Journey Of Love, Through Passionate Melodies" concert will blend classical with pop music for guests to enjoy.

The repertoire features famous love songs newly arranged and harmonised in a pop-opera style for this show, including She, My Heart Will Go On, Unchained Melody and Perfect.

Taking its name from a combination of the words five and era, Fivera is the first homegrown classical crossover voice group in Thailand. Known for its fusion of pop and light opera, the group comprises five classically trained vocalists to form a harmonious group.

Fivera are sopranos Nattida "Pang" Gumchai and Mashima "Kimiko" Meebamroong, tenor Tanapat "Film" Yartcharoen, baritone Bodin "Tae" Piyatanasirikul, and bass-baritone Tulanan "Toon" Narasetapisarn.

Since its debut in Bangkok in 2010, the pop-opera band has performed in over 20 countries, showcasing their talent and captivating audiences across Asia, South Africa and South America. It has also featured in various television specials and international events.

The group gained acclaim for its blend of traditional light opera and contemporary pop music. Their repertoire includes diverse pop and rock classics, making them suitable for various events, from weddings to gala dinners.

Tickets cost 999, 1,299 and 1,599 baht and can be purchased from ticketmelon.com.
