Experience the allure of Puma Blue as he takes to a Thai stage for the first time and serenades audiences with his captivating melodies. Join #HYHBKK Live! on April 2 at Lido Connect for an unforgettable evening with Puma Blue, featuring tracks from his latest hit Holy Water.

Hailing from South London, Puma Blue, also known as Jacob Allen, has swiftly risen to prominence as a singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. His journey to musical acclaim began with the release of his debut EP Swum Baby in 2017, which featured the breakout track [She's] Just A Phase. Since then, Puma Blue has been celebrated for his unique fusion of laid-back guitar-driven lo-fi beats with elements of jazz melodies, creating an atmosphere that is both mysterious and enchanting.

What sets Puma Blue apart is his ability to weave introspective themes into his music while maintaining an aura of seduction and fascination. His singing style, influenced by jazz and R&B, features whispered vocals and sultry techniques. Despite the dark and mysterious undertones present in much of his work, Puma Blue's music is not devoid of hope or optimism. Instead, it serves as a platform for contemplation and exploration of the complexities of existence. This is evident in his discography, which spans the bittersweet tones of Blood Loss (2018) to the deeper exploration of darkness found in his latest album Holy Water (2023), which delves into themes of pain and struggle with insomnia, creating a layered and intense nocturnal sound that is both haunting and beautiful.

Drawing inspiration from an eclectic array of artists including Björk, Can, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Buckley and Portishead, Puma Blue's music is a testament to his diverse musical influences. Holy Water represents a bold step forward in experimentation while maintaining the raw intensity that has become synonymous with his sound.

Catch #HYHBKK Live! With Puma Blue on April 2 at Lido Connect. Tickets are 2,000 baht (limit of four tickets per person), and will go on sale on Tuesday from 3pm onwards. Tickets are available at haveyouheard.live.
