Chingiz Allazov celebrates his win against Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong.

Chingiz Allazov is ready for his time in the spotlight.

Allazov, who won the ONE featherweight kickboxing World Grand Prix, will battle divisional king Superbon Singha Mawynn in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 2: Xiong v Lee III on Sept 30 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Allazov had multiple spectacular performances in the ONE featherweight kickboxing World Grand Prix, scoring two first-round knockouts in the quarter-finals and semi-finals.

The 29-year-old defeated Samy Sana in only 39 seconds in October last year.

Then in January, he dropped Smokin' Jo Nattawut in under two minutes.

"Chinga" looks to produce yet another show-stopping result against Thailand's Superbon when they meet this month.

"I have been waiting for this fight. I think Superbon is a good fighter. He has a good style. He is really a clever fighter and has good timing. I like this fight, and my team and I are only focused on this. I will have a surprise for him when we meet," he said.

The Azerbaijani-Belarusian athlete had already met one of the greatest Thai fighters in the circle when he rematched No.4-ranked kickboxing contender Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in the tournament's finale.

After a heated fight, Allazov took "The Killer Kid" to a unanimous decision.

This settled the score between the two, as Sitthichai defeated the Gridin Gym athlete years prior outside of the organisation.

Allazov's performance also earned him the Grand Prix's silver belt and a shot at Superbon.

Superbon, the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion, has also had a successful year. He knocked out Giorgio "The Doctor" Petrosyan with a head kick to win the belt.

He later faced No.2-ranked contender Marat Grigorian in March, handing the Armenian his first loss inside the circle.

Allazov is eager for the challenge ahead and is confident that he will leave the victor after what will likely be a heavy-handed match.

"He has good kicks, I have the same good kicks. He has good boxing, but I have two-to-three times better boxing than him, and more power than him. In this sport, it comes down to who is clever, who is more powerful, who has more timing, and who has a good game plan," Allazov said.
