Muang Thong United rallied from two goals down to beat Port 3-2 in Thai League 1 on Sunday night.

But while Muang Thong coach Mario Gjurovski praised his men's brilliant fightback, Port coach Surapong Kongthep and chairwoman Nualphan Lamsam complained about the officiating.

Hosts Port raced to a 2-0 lead at half-time with goals from Hamilton Soares in the 16th minute and Worachit Kanitsribumphen after 29 minutes.

But the Kirins regrouped in the second half and got three goals from Eric Johana in the 59th minute, a Willian Popp penalty kick in the 85th minute, and Poramet Arjvilai in the 88th minute.

Muang Thong got the penalty after Elias Dolah was adjudged to have fouled Poramet.

But Surapong and Nualphan cast doubt about the penalty decision by referee Visaves Sungnakorn and the VAR.

"The VAR did not help make officiating better. Everyone saw whether it was a foul or not," Surapong said.

Nualphan wai the referee in a sarcastic gesture after the match.

In a social media post, she called on referees to perform their duty in a straightforward manner for fairness.

"I am not making a protest," she wrote. "PS this season Port have conceded six penalties, the most by a Thai League 1 team, and got only one, the least in the league."
