Thai cyclists picked up one gold, four silver and one bronze medals on the second day of the Track Asia Cup 2023 in Suphan Buri on Sunday.

Natcha Songkhen, Pittayaporn Seatun, Petlada Mankong and Chanathip Rujirat combined to help Thailand win gold in the women's junior pursuit event with a time of 5:37.597 minutes at the velodrome at Suphan Buri Sports School.

Pannaray Rasee, Yaowaret Jitmat and Natthaporn Aphimot crossed the finish line in 1:10.450 minutes to take the silver medal in the women's sprint team event. The Korean Business Cycling Federation won gold in 1:08.846 minutes while Saudi Arabia national team took bronze.

Pongthep Tapimay, Wachirawit Saenkhamwong and Yeaunyong Petcharat clocked 1:03.489 minutes to take silver in the men's sprint team event.

The gold medal went to Indonesia and KBCF from South Korea took bronze.

Thak Kaeonoi got silver in the men's scratch event. Indian cyclist Niraj Kumar won gold and Kai Kwong Tso of Hong Kong took bronze.

Yaowaret Jitmat finished second in the women's keirin event. Korean Park Ha-young won the gold medal and Indonesian rider Wiji Lestari took bronze.

Thai riders also captured bronze in the men's junior pursuit event, which was won by Saudi Arabia (4:38.310 minutes). Hong Kong (4:44.917) took the silver.

Six gold medals will be up for grabs on Monday in the men's and women's team pursuit events, the men's and women's junior team sprint events and the men's and women's junior team omnium events.
