Phuket: Thai sailors claimed three titles at the 35th Phuket King's Cup Regatta yesterday.

The International Dinghy classes finished their three-day competition at Kata Beach.

The event was divided into four classes -- Monohull Dinghy Handicap (12 boats), ILCA 4 (15), Open Skiff (17) and Optimist (79).

The overall Optimist winner was Thailand's Patcharaphan Ongkaloy, continuing on her gold-medal winning show at the SEA Games.

Compatriots Pailin Jaroenpon and Karit Phrammanee finished second and third respectively.

The Open Skiff class was won by India's Anandi Chandavarkar.

Dom Kaewpradab of Thailand was second and India's Ayaan Nath third.

The ILCA4 class was swept by Thailand with Nanvatorn Supaamphonwit finishing first, ahead of runner-up Ton Rattana and third-placed Thanaphat Sirichaoren.

The Monohull Dinghy Handicap class was won by Claudia Nazarov with Voravong Racharattanaruk coming in second and Morten Jakobsen third.

Last year, Claudia competed in the IRC One class. She is the daughter of famed naval architect Albert Nazarov, himself an ILCA 4 sailor.

Kevin Whitcraft's THA72 did not race in the four-boat IRC Zero class yesterday due to technical problems.

The day belonged to James and Kate Murray's Callisto, which won two races.

Ray Roberts' Team Hollywood had two second-place showings after winning all three races on Monday.

Steve McConaghy's Aftershock took third place in both races.
