Former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra's net wealth increased by 38 million baht to 579 million baht during her time in office, it was revealed on Friday.

The information came from the list of declared assets and liabilities of Ms Yingluck and nine other ministers of her former cabinet released by the National Anti-Corruption Commission.

The declaration was due one year after their leaving office. On May 7 last year the Constitutional Court found them guilty of unfairly transferring Thawil Pliensri from the position of secretary-general of the National Security Council in 2011.

Ms Yingluck declared she, her husband and her son had assets worth 612 million baht, with debts of 33 million baht,  for net wealth of 579 million baht. Her family's net assets had grown by 38 million baht over  their declared wealth when she became prime minister in August 2011.

Former deputy prime minister Plodprasop Suraswadi had assets of 967 million baht, with 1.6 million baht of debt. Former deputy defence minister Yuthasak Sasiprapa had 323 million baht in assets, and was debt-free. Former information and communication technology minister Anudith Nakornthap had 14.85 million baht of assets.
