Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok unveils new guestrooms

TRAVEL

Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, a deluxe hotel with resort-style facilities and three unique world-class event venues, has proudly introduced a new Grand experience to discerning travellers by unveiling its new guestrooms.

In keeping with the ever-changing needs and lifestyles of the present-day global traveller, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok underwent a complete remodelling programme of its guestrooms, which began in March 2012, and of which the first phase has been completed. The first 197 new guestrooms and suites have recently opened their doors to welcome guests from around the world.

Master planned and designed by the renowned American interior designer Tony Chi, the new guestrooms will complement the hotels positioning as a warm and welcoming Thai residence, with a residential ambience blended with Thai touches ensuring that our guests feel at home.

The guestroom design approach is decidedly modern, but incorporates classical touches with a distinct Thai flavour. The design conveys a subtle sophistication and a blend of East-meets-West that gives the guest an instant feeling of comfort, but also reflects the hotels locale. The intent of the re-modelling work is to extend the cosy residential aesthetic developed for the spa cottages at i.sawan to the guestroom floors, tailored for the unique needs of the guestroom users the rooms are at once luxurious and practical.

With a new design, bedrooms will feature rich residential furnishings accented by a collection of Thai accessories. An intimate and diverse seating area next to a comfortable bed includes an upholstered daybed-style settee, a pull-up armchair and an upholstered leather bench for use as a private living area, for working, dining or socialising. Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok hopes that the new-look rooms enable guest to enjoy their daily routine as though they were at home, and according to their own lifestyle, even though they are in fact travelling.
