The Bridge Curse: Ritual

Directed by Lester Hsi.

Ning Chang, J.C. Lin and Summer Meng.

What’s it about?

An architect disrupted the school during construction and turned it into supernatural entities. Years later, an augmented game involving dark rituals happens when a group of students unleash a swarm of evil spirits into the world.

Why watch it?

“The Bridge Curse: Road To Salvation” game is an adaptation of the film and includes Taiwanese urban legend and an intriguing backstory.


Blue Giant

Directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa.

Who’s in it?

Shôtarô Mamiya, Amane Okayama and Yuki Yamada.

What’s it about?

Dai Miyamoto, a student from Sendai, receives a saxophone as a gift from his brother, Masayuki. He starts practicing immediately.

Based on a comic book.


Dumb Money

Directed by Craig Gillespie.

Who’s in it?

Paul Dano, Pete Davidson and Vincent D’Onofrio.

What’s it about?

David vs. Goliath tale about everyday people who flipped the script on Wall Street and got rich by turning GameStop (the video game store) into the world's hottest company.

Why watch it?

According to the website Puck, the real Ken Griffin — portrayed in the film by Nick Offerman — "is locked in a nasty behind-the-scenes legal fight with Sony Pictures over his depiction in the movie. Griffin claims the movie ‘crosses the line into the knowingly false and defamatory portrayal of Ken and Citadel Securities’."


Siam Curse

Directed by Jetniphut Sa-Shing.

Who’s in it?

Ying Ariya Buakong, Lura Chansri and Chutiya Jiarakul.

What’s it about?

A love triangle of best friends who fell in love with the same person finally caused black magic to be involved. This became a tragedy leading to a scary and never-ending revenge passing to the next generation.

Why watch it?

Not to be mistaken for the curse of Siam. 


Napoleon

Directed by Ridley Scott.

Vanessa Kirby, Joaquin Phoenix and Ludivine Sagnier.

What’s it about?

An epic that details the checkered rise and fall of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and his relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his wife, Josephine.

Why watch it?

Sir Ridley Scott said his four-hour director's cut will be released on Apple TV+.
