After having encouraged brides and grooms-to-be to run for big honeymoon packages in "Eazy Running Of The Brides" over the past eight years, Eazy FM105.5 is transitioning to a charitable cause with a new running race open to all.

Held for the first time, "Eazy Running For The Blind 2020" is a virtual race where participants can run anytime and anywhere to reach a distance of at least 10km within the designated time.

They have until Nov 20 to register to join the competition and once their registration is confirmed, they can start running. For those who want to run the longest distance they can, they are required to register by Nov 13.

Entrants can use any running app to keep track of their distance -- be it Strava, Runtastic, Endomondo or Run Keeper. Submissions of their accumulated distance should be made by Nov 27.

Those who complete their designated distance will receive souvenirs designed by Greyhound Original and get a chance to win prizes such as a Vivo S1 Pro smartphone, a fitness watch from Polar, eyewear from Bolon, a voucher from a hotel and a dining voucher from a restaurant.

Prizes for the male and female runners who can accumulate the longest distance include a voucher for hotel accommodation at The Naka Phuket and W Samui, respectively.

The registration fees is 499 and 699 baht inclusive of a T-shirt and a medal; and 599 baht (for runners who don't want to submit their distance) inclusive of a T-shirt and a face mask.

Part of the proceeds will go towards the Foundation for the Blind of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of HM the Queen.
