Fancy a 5-star lunch? Flourish now delivers

To offer high-brow diners more options of 5-star lunches, Flourish, an all-day international dining restaurant at the Sindhorn Kempinski hotel, has recently launched a takeaway menu, which is also available for delivery.

Dubbed "Taste Of Flourish Set Menu", the lunch sets are priced at 525 baht for a two-course meal and 620 baht for a three-course meal.

Diners at home can choose from two options -- a Thai set and a Western set.

Thai dishes are prepared by a team of award-winning Thai chefs under Loukjaan by Saneh Jaan Thai restaurant, which is housed within the premises of Flourish.

For the Thai set, appetiser options include tom kha hed or sour and spicy coconut cream soup with mushrooms, galangal and lemongrass, and yum thua phlu or sweet and sour winged bean salad with shredded chicken meat, peanut and boiled egg.

The main rice dish features three choices and they include chicken yellow curry and house-made pickles, deep-fried battered fillets of sea bass with choo chee styled sweet red curry sauce with steamed bok choy vegetables, and wagyu beef phad kraphrao with fried egg.

The Western set main course options.

In the Western set, starter options include river prawn bisque with garlic bread, quinoa tabbouleh salad, and Greek salad with Kalamata olives and feta cheese crumble.

For the main course, linguini pasta with slow-cooked beef short rib ragout, bone-in pork chop with caramelised nut crust, apple sauce and grilled vegetables, pan-seared salmon steak with sauteed bok choy, and black Venere rice and teriyaki sauce are the options.

At the moment, fried black sesame dumplings in hot ginger tea is the only choice of dessert for takeaway. It's also a great idea to fulfil your sweet craving with the heavenly fleur de noisette (140 baht per piece) from the hotel's bakery.

This super fine and flaky, multi-layered buttery brioche with salted caramel and hazelnut praliné filling is absolutely to-die-for.

Sindhorn Kempinski Bakery is without a doubt a true master in viennoiserie (butter-laminated, yeast-leavened pastry). Its selection of croissants has lately been regarded by city-wide croissant snobs as one of Bangkok's best. Try the pain au chocolate and plain croissant with a buttery and spongy honeycomb-like centre (140 baht per piece) and I guarantee you'll quickly become a devoted fan.

Sindhorn Kempinski's delivery service is available daily from 11.30am-8.30pm. Orders can be placed directly with the hotel at 02-095-9999 or through third-party service providers including Line Man and Robinhood.
