Central Embassy is celebrating the uniqueness of the Northeast during "A Sense Of Thai 2022: Summer Vibrance", which portrays the beauty of Isan nature and culture through vibrant decorations throughout the shopping mall until Sunday.

Held in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the campaign presents the "Summer Spider Lawn" in the front area, allowing visitors to experience a Mekong River flow simulation surrounded by thung or wind chimes made from cotton and silk threads bound together to look like a spider's web. Isan people believe it repels negativity and brings peace and happiness.

Along the walkway that connects the BTS station and Central Embassy, witness beautifully lit lanterns decorated in Thai fabric patterns. The tunnel that connects Central Embassy and Central Chidlom is decorated with indigo-dyed fabric products from Sakon Nakhon province and reed, a broad-leafed grass used to weave mats, from Surin.

Held to promote domestic tourism, the "Songkran Marketplace By TAT" brings premium tours, hotels and spa packages from entrepreneurs from all regions, available at special prices at more than 60 booths on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.

However, the highlight is on the 5th floor where shoppers are invited to celebrate Thai New Year by pouring water onto Buddha statues and enjoy a performance of contemporary Thai-Isan music which is staged daily at noon, 3pm and 6pm.

On the same floor are 12 shops at the "Summerful Market" that features cultural products such as Thai fabrics, accessories and local delicacies from many communities.

There are also thung-making workshops daily from 11am to 7pm, free of charge, but donations are welcome to support the Million Gift Million Smile Foundation.
