Exhibition celebrates leading female artists

Inspiring artworks by eight of the country's leading female artists are showcased during "Shepossible Exhibition" at Luxe Galerie, on the 1st floor at Central zone in CentralWorld, Ratchadamri Road, until March 26.

Held to mark International Women's Day 2023, the exhibition aims to promote the potential of women and empower them to drive changes that lead to true equality.

It features eight art creations which are also available for auction. The highest bidder of each piece will also receive an NFT certificate of authenticity of the piece.

The works include Phoenix, oil on raw canvas portraying the mythical bird which is a symbol of rebirth and freedom by Chanida "Be" Aroonrungsi; Independent Traveller, an acrylic on canvas by Jaruorn "Orn" Thongthai who depicts a free roamer exploring the world with a can-do attitude; and The Giant, an oil painting touching on gender equality by Tongchit "Pang" Torsuwan.

Aiya Manthachitra presents the story of a mother and her daughter building their lives and future together through an acrylic painting titled Made It Possible, and Sirima "Pahparn" Chaipreechawit showcases Pink Impression using film photographs printed on metal to reflect gender biases and inequality.

Lady Papaya by Kawita "Praew" Vatanajyankur is a series of 4K video still shots that show how women are taken advantage of in everyday lives; Chronometer Goddess is an acrylic painting by Pannaphan Yodmanee who translates femininity through mural paintings; and Women -- Mother Nature by Note Panayanggool encourages all women to embrace and celebrate the power of women through this piece of art.

Proceeds from the exhibition will go to the Friend of Women Foundation, Center for Girls Foundation, and Freedom Restoration Project to improve the quality of life for women nationwide.
