Toyota has launched the latest generation of its highly popular Alphard/Vellfire luxury van featuring a hybrid powertrain as well as all-wheel-drive and the latest version of Toyota Safety Sense.
Power comes from a 2.5-litre Dual VVT-I engine mated to an electric motor, developing a combined 250hp. The average fuel economy according to the official Eco Sticker is 17.9kpl.
In terms of design, the Alphard features a private jet-inspired theme with LED lights, powered tailgate and 17in or 19in wheels depending on the variant. The Vellfire has a more aggressive exterior design and black interior.
The second-row seats come with 10-way power adjustment, ventilation and massage functions controlled via a detachable tablet. There's also twin moonroof, 64-colour illumination and premium nappa leather upholstery.
There's a 14-inch centre touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay, 12.3-inch instrument display and JBL loudspeakers (15 in total). A super-long overhead console comes with a 14-inch screen for rear passengers.
