The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has partnered with Doctor A to Z, a Thailand-based medical tourism portal, to organise the "Amazing Thailand Health & Wellness Roadshow" in Bahrain on Sept 17.

Bahrain was chosen as the first city for the offshore launch of the Doctor A to Z service because of the rising numbers of health and wellness visitors to Thailand, said TAT deputy governor for Europe, Africa, Middle East and the Americas Srisuda Wanapinyosak.

Doctor A to Z is a digital healthcare management platform that connects specialist doctors with hospitality and concierge services. The portal has more than 200 doctors from 30 hospitals. It also provides medical concierge services including VIP transportation, VIP nurse, butler, private tour, luxury accommodation and airport VIP services.

More than 100 travel trade representatives specialising in the health and wellness sector, socialites, diplomats, business people, celebrities and the media from Bahrain and all over the Gulf region have been invited for the Amazing Thailand Health and Wellness Roadshow to introduce the range of services offered by the Doctor A to Z.

Comprising of both B2B and B2C sessions, the roadshow will provide both health and wellness trade buyers and consumers an efficient and convenient way to find the right solution to their specific problem or requirement, she noted.
