A dozen cat-loving artists are exhibiting their works at "Mama Meow: The Love Of Cat's Mommy Is No Reason", which kicks off today and runs until Sept 9, on the 2nd floor of C43 Shop at Charoen 43 Art & Eatery, Charoen Krung Road.

Reflecting the love and care each artist has for cats, which can be compared to the same feeling a mother has for her own child, the exhibition aims to campaign for the adoption of stray cats using the hashtag #adoptdontshop, and to promote the idea that if you don't love stray cats and dogs, at least don't harm them (#IfYouDontLoveDontHurt).

This is a rich and varied display of artwork by illustrators, ceramic studios, digital artists, inventors and photographers. The line-up includes Treerachin, Jeedwonder & Tishaspoon, Circus De Lalelo, Cielyarn, Prang Vejjajiva, Chantanee Kontoljinda, Nattapol Lertthitiplurt, Samatcha Apaisuwan, Kullaya Kassakul, Suthita Cheevakoset, Tear Factory Boy and Baipat Nopnom.

Numerous cat-related products are also available to delight cat lovers. They include cat clothes, artist-designed T-shirts, handicrafts, ceramic containers, books and other irresistible items.

Part of the proceeds from sales of the artworks and products will be donated to three organisations dedicated to the care and welfare of stray cats and dogs. They include the Rak Maew Pan Nam Jai Foundation for Stray Cats, Cat Lumpini, and Catster by Kingdom of Tigers.

The exhibition is open for public viewing, free of charge, daily from noon to 7pm, except Monday and Tuesday.
