Large magnificent paintings of Guanyin Bodhisattva by a distinguished Chinese legacy artist will be exhibited during "The Profound Beauty Art Exhibition" at Manasikarn Hall in Kaeng Khoi district of Saraburi province, from this Sunday until Oct 14.

Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in collaboration with Mahidol University, this is the first chance for people in Thailand to witness the exquisite fine art of Guanyin Bodhisattva paintings amid stunning mountains.

They are uniquely crafted by master Wang Changli, whose celebrated works are housed in the Forbidden City, or the Palace Museum, in Beijing. He is recognised for his contributions to traditional Chinese art while also incorporating personal innovation.

The masterpieces, some of them towering up to 4m, blend Western and Eastern techniques to render significant meaning and sacredness according to ancient Chinese beliefs, promising an unforgettable experience. On display will be a total of six paintings, worth over 1 billion baht.

Manasikarn Hall is a cultural tourism site renowned for perfectly blending with Buddhism. It has been voted as the Top Unseen Attraction in Saraburi. Visitors can also explore "Journey To The Life Of Buddha", a multimedia representation of the path of the Buddha, at the hall.

Manasikarn Hall is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and 9.30am to 6pm on weekends.

Tickets cost 250 baht (half price for children under 12 years and seniors from 60 years; 500 baht for foreign visitors) and can be purchased from megatix.in.th. There is no admission fee for monks and novices.

Visit manasikarn.com or call 095-760-0885.
