Back by popular demand, the "Doggie Mini Rally" is the highlight of "BFF: Bark Friends Forever" which will take place at Sansiri Krungthep Kreetha Community, Srinakarin-Rom Klao Road, on Saturday from 4-8pm.
The 2km dog rally is another chance for lovely pooches and their keepers to have fun exercising together and win prizes worth more than 50,000 baht. However, only 100 pairs will be accepted.
Set in a lovey-dovey atmosphere, the festival will feature many activities including a cute wedding ceremony and marriage registration for dogs in love, and a match-making event for dogs.
There will be a "Lover Costume Contest" where dogs and their owners are encouraged to dress under Valentine's theme to vie for an accommodation voucher to stay in a pet-friendly room at The Peri Hotel, Hua Hin, for one night, worth over 10,000 baht.
Other activities will be fun games, a dog spa, health check-ups for pets by Thonglor Pet Hospital, and the "Adopt Me Please" activity to find loving homes for stray dogs. A professional photographer will be there to take pictures of you and your four-legged friends.
Set to show up at the festival will be two celebrity dogs -- Giant, a teacup-sized Yorkshire terrier belonging to actor/singer Noppanat "Bun" Kanthachai; and Haruto, the beloved Pomeranian of actor Natachai "Dunk" Boonprasert.
Expect to enjoy delicious food from well-known eateries at the "Purr-Market" which will feature more than 20 booths. Famous food trucks will also be there.
