The Australian Teachers Of Dancing International and the ATOD Children & Youth Development Association present "La Bayadère & Snow White 2023", a charity performance, at CMU Convention Center, Chiang Mai University, on Sunday at noon and 3pm.

The two-hour show will feature a variety of dance genres, including classical ballet, contemporary dance, and jazz dance, with foreign and Thai ballet dancers including Patchisa Pakdeewong, Ramon Chuajedton, Lapat Sangkusolwong and Phatcharanat Pamornmaitree as the main principal cast. They have won many prizes from international dance competitions at numerous international dance arenas.

They will be joined by Supatchai Lappakornkul and Chanakarn Panpijit from Bangkok City Ballet. Performing as support dancers will be more than 100 dance students from Chiang Mai Ballet Academy, which has been bestowed the Royal Award for a school with the highest standards by King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.

Taking the role of artistic director is ML Preeyapun Sridhavat, who received the Avril Binzer Memorial Award for outstanding person in dance education from Australia in 2019, the Women of Impact Award in the Philippines in 2020, and the Asean Special Award of Woman Entrepreneur in Cambodia in 2022.

Tickets cost 500 baht and can be purchased from the ATOD Children & Youth Development Association and Chiang Mai Ballet Academy. Proceeds will go towards the underprivileged and orphaned youths at Chalermprakiet 48th Pansa School under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
