Official description

Everything Indian will come alive during the “Thai-Indian Fun Fair 2016” which will take place at the lawn in front of the royal statues of King Chulalogkorn and King Vajiravudh, Chulalongkorn University, Phaya Thai Road, this Saturday, from 3pm-10pm.

Held in collaboration with the Indian Social Club of Thailand, the Indian Embassy and the Indian Studies Center of Chulalongkorn University, the third edition of the fair is an opportunity to strengthen friendships, fellowship, peace and a mutual understanding between the Thai and Indian communities through a colourful and rich cultural event with culinary delights.

Open to people of all nationalities, the annual fun-filled event will include a variety of Indian and local cuisine, entertainment and cultural programmes, interactive games, rangoli and painting competitions, raffles, Indian heritage corners, contests, booths and more.

His Excellency General Tanasak Patimaprakorn, deputy prime minister, will attend the event as the chief guest of honour and deliver opening remarks, while Tourism and Sports Minister Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul will also join the fun fair from 3pm-4pm.
