One of the hottest K-pop girl groups will make their Bangkok debut at "Twice 1st Tour 'Twice Land' - The Opening - In Bangkok" at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, on Saturday at 5pm.

Presented by Four One One Entertainment, the group has been immensely successful since its debut 18 months ago. Formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2015 reality show Sixteen, Twice comprises nine members of three nationalities — Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Dahyun and Chaeyoung from South Korea, Momo, Sana and Mina from Japan, and Tzuyu from Taiwan.

The group has received a total of 22 awards, including Best Artist Award from the 2016 Asia Artist Awards. They released the first mini-album The Story Begins in October 2015 whose lead single, Like Ooh-Ahh, is JYP's most viewed debut music video.

Their other hit songs include Cheer Up, which won Song of the Year at the eighth Melon Music Awards and also at the 18th Mnet Asian Music Awards. The cheerful pop dance song TT became the fastest K-pop group music video to hit 100 million views.

The video for their latest single, Knock Knock, released two months ago, had 10 million views on YouTube within 24 hours.

Tickets cost 1,800, 2,800, 3,500, 3,900, 4,800 and 5,500 baht and can be purchased from Thai Ticket Major booths (visit www.thaiticketmajor.com or call 02-262-3456).
