The musical traditions of Brazil and Thailand will be presented by two talented artists during a cultural night held to celebrate Thai-Brazilian friendship at Thailand Cultural Centre next month.
Presented by the Embassy of Brazil in Bangkok and the Thailand-Brazil Parliamentarian Friendship Group, the "Jazz, Bossa Nova and Classical Music" concert will be a chance to enjoy the best music from each country.
The concert programme will focus on the musical traditions performed by Bangkok-based Brazilian pianist Paulo Zereu and Thai violinist Dr Paye Srinarong.
Thai traditional and folk music, with its jazzy and classical sounds, will mingle with mellow Brazilian bossa nova and samba, popular music and classical repertoires.
The Jazz, Bossa Nova and Classical Music concert will take place in the small hall of Thailand Cultural Centre located on Ratchadaphisek Road on July 3 at 7pm. There is no admission fee and a cocktail reception will be held after the concert. Email cultural@brazilembassy.or.th.
