Official description
The Fifa World Cup trophy will be in Bangkok from tomorrow until Monday.
Presented by Coca-Cola, this is a rare chance for fans in the Kingdom to get a close-up view of the world’s most coveted symbol of football before next year’s World Cup kicks off.
The trophy will be on display at the Royal Paragon Hall on the fifth floor of Siam Paragon, and while Dec 28 is reserved for media and
invited guests, the trophy will be available for public viewing on Dec 29-30 from 10am to 9pm.
The trophy set off from Rio de Janeiro on Sept 12 and will visit 88 countries during its eight month journey.
It is currently in Myanmar and after Bangkok, the tour will continue to Malaysia, Indonesia and cities throughout South America.
The Fifa World Cup 2014 will take place during June 12-July 13 in Brazil.
