Seacon Bangkae will give everyone an opportunity to get up close and personal with legendary ghosts and monsters from around the world, as well as scary Thai spirits, for 10 days, beginning on Friday.

The “International Ghosts Party” will unlock the legend of Thai and international spirits, ghosts and monsters ahead of Halloween, at the mall’s Center Court on the first floor. There will be mock-ups of famous ghosts’ and monsters’ residences, including Count Dracula’s Bran Castle, Dr Frankenstein’s laboratory, Chucky’s doll shop, Freddy Krueger’s bedroom, haunted villages and eerie cemeteries, where mythical international and Thai ghosts will come back to life.

Included on the spooky guest list are Count Dracula; a female vampire; a werewolf; Satan; Jason Voorhees from the Friday The 13th film series; Freddy Krueger from the A Nightmare On Elm Street film series; Chucky the doll from the Child’s Play film series; Frankenstein’s monster; mummies; the Slit-Mouthed Woman; Ju-on the white ghost; Sadako from the film The Ring, Rokurokubi, the long-necked female ghost, from Japan; and Jiangshi, the hopping zombie, from China.

Famous ghosts from Thai soil will be Mae Nak Phra Khanong, Pret the hungry ghost, Krasue the filth-eating flying ghost, Kuman Thong, Yommabaan, the guardian of hell, and the headless ghost. The party scene will be surrounded by more than 10 2m-tall ghost models from around the globe. Visitors will be challenged to watch every step they take through haunted houses, where everything is eerily silent and in pitch-black darkness.

There will also be an exhibition on unknown spirits, which will present stories of ghosts buried in coffins. There are also fun games with prizes and various kinds of cocktails and drinks.
