Official description

Creations and installations by students of Bangkok University will be showcased during the “BU Creative Fest 2014”, which will run at the university’s Rangsit campus, from Thursday until Saturday, from 10am to 5pm.

Held under a “Creativity Makes You Shine” concept by Bangkok University’s Alumni Association and faculty members, the festival will transform the BU Diamond Building into an exhibition hall where students will present their creative work and activities.

There will also be the sale of products from alumni's businesses, and items and food from Pathum Thani province.

Displays will be set up inside and outside the hall.

The School of Engineering will showcase robots and multi-motor devices; the School of Science and Technology will display AR codes and mobile applications; the School of Fine and Applied Arts will have artwork under a “Designable Future” theme; the School of Business Administration will exhibit product samples from dummy companies; and the School of Economics will present successful career stories of its alumni. The School of Humanities and Tourism Management will demonstrate coffee making and coffee art.

The School of Architecture will showcase chair designs.

On Monday, famous figures from various fields will speak and share their ideas and work experiences. BU alumni will also recount their work lives.

The event will conclude with a reunion party for BU alumni, on Monday from 6pm to 9.30pm. It will feature performances by the BU band, the BU chorus and the university’s award-winning cheerleading squad.
