A Chinese acrobatic troupe will perform during the “Future Park Chinese New Year: The Extraordinary Xinjiang Festival”, at Future Park, from tomorrow until Feb 22.
The Xinjiang Acrobatic Troupe, which was named the champion of China’s 2014 National Acrobatic Competition, will perform 15 different shows at the Cascata, ground floor, throughout the 10 days, at 7pm. The highlights include:
 “Pagoda of Iron Men” features 10 performers who shape themselves into
a multi-tiered pagoda.
- “Queen of Tian Shan” is performed by female acrobats dressed in white, dancing atop a human pyramid against
a backdrop of the Tian Shan mountains.
- “The Great Tai Chi” incorporates Chinese martial arts with cowboy lassos.
- “Bowls Balance On One-wheel” has performers riding a unicycle while balancing bowls atop their heads.
There is no admission fee.
