Official description

At Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World, children can not only enjoy exotic underwater creatures but also draw their own fish and watch them swim.

To celebrate the summer holidays, the world-class aquarium has set aside “Amazing Creations”, a learning activity area where kids are invited to have fun using their drawing and colouring skills.

All they have to do is colour their favourite fish on the provided drawing paper, place the finished art pieces on the scanner and the fish will be shown swimming on the big digital ocean.

The area is divided into four stations based on four fish and each has an individual aquarium showing the real species as a model for kids when they do the drawing.

The “Quirky Camouflage” station has weedy scorpionfish, aka masters of masquerade, which often mimic a plant by resting on the sea floor to hide completely from predators. The “Technicolor Dreamcoat” station shows Mandarin fish, which dwell on the reef.

The “Striking Stripes” station features the beautiful, yet dangerous lionfish that has a very distinctive striped body and the “Pretty Polkadots” station, which focuses on yellow spotted boxfish, a poisonous species with round dots covering the body.

Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World is on the B1 and B2 floors of Siam Paragon, Rama I. There is no additional charge for this interactive activity.
