Think you can bounce to Super Junior's Mr Simple or your Gangnam Style moves are better than the rest, then turn your passion into prizes at "The Mall Thailand Inter Cover Dance Contest 2013".
A trophy and scholarships worth more than 500,000 baht are on offer for youngsters who can mimic their favourite Thai, Korean, Japanese and international artists' moves.
The contest is open to youths aged between 13 and 25 and they must enter as teams with at least three dancers, or the same number as the group they are covering - you'll need nine for Girls Generation songs. Dancers will be judged on the similarity to the original, synchronicity, resemblance in dress to the original artists, ideas and presentation.
The preliminary rounds are on June 22 and 23 at The Mall Bangkapi, July 6 and 7 at The Mall Bangkae, and July 20-21 at The Mall Ngamwongwan. The final round will be held on Aug 3 at The Mall Ngamwongwan. Applications can be made at the public relations counter at any branch by June 10.
